Happy Saturn's/Saint Patrick's Day, Puzzlers!

Terror's new home on Wordpress - The Black Collar Bugle - is now accepting art, poetry, and original flash fiction based on our prompts. Yes, you may recognise the prompts we have listed so far ;-) Psst, I have it on good authority that they will always be the same as ours. Weird huh?

Things are a bit different over there - posting is weekly. There's no fan art/fiction allowed or personalized banners given. But the prompts never expire as they do here, and there's no prompt amount - word count rules. Word count limit is couplet/haiku - 2000.

Come check us out when you get a moment. I'd be thrilled to see some of you contribute.

One day since last incident and counting...

I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday season :-) Mine was a challenge, and unfortunately I felt the need to hide away from the world for a while, but alls better now, and we will be returning to our regularly scheduled programming.

Happy Week Before the New Star Wars Movie, everyone!

Instead of apologizing for my attendance and participation issues, I'd like to instead give hearty appreciation and hugs to those of you still sticking around, writing, reading, and taking a random peak at our goings on...mostly, big thanks to those still contributing their work for our enjoyment. It means a lot when anyone is inspired by the puzzles, as that is the true point to all of this.

In case anyone is wondering, despite being shamefully behind on your reward banners and clearly not having my mental shit as together as much as I'd like, I am still here, Puzzle Prompts is still going to be here, and new puzzles will arrive this spring to stimulate your muses.

For now, two more amnesty months with additonal levels of play coming next...

Happy 2017 Puzzlers! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.

Thanks so much to those who kept posting in my longer than expected absence.

And thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding. No life is perfect, but mine is a lot more ordered than it was a few months ago, and my professional license is in tact for another two years. If anyone is interested, I will not be locking my personal journal posts on my continuing mental health adventures, in the hopes someone finds them useful or helpful in some way.

January will be a rest month here at Puzzle Prompts, to give me time to catch up on your all's stories and banners.

February will be a special amnesty month - Make Your Own Themed Puzzle!
You get to make your own puzzle from the pieces/prompts from any and all of last year's puzzles.
All puzzles are unlocked, and will remain so until the end of February.
The only catch, is that every fic must have an overall theme/setting.
I will give you some to chose from. Amoung them will be Valentine's Day (love, loneliness, jealousy) and New Years (beginnings). Chinese New Year often falls in February, but this year is January 28th.
More details (and banners) coming soon.

I'm very sorry everyone. More issues in real life have been taking up all of my time lately, and may continue to do so for a bit. I owe so many people banners, it's not funny. They will be made as soon as humanly possible. November's puzzle will go up tomorrow, though it will not be as detailed as usual. Again, I am very sorry for this long ass blip in our regularly scheduled programming. Thanks for bearing with me.

This poll is to determine the powers (natural, supernatural, mechanical, etc.) that our members are interested in writing about. This may look like well over a year’s worth of powers, but they can be worked into other puzzle categories, like random object, and visual stimulation. It gives me an idea of what you all are into. It’s also a way for us to all get to know each other.

*Unlike my other comms, I prefer these polls and discussions be for members/watchers of Puzzle Prompts, or our sibling and affiliate communities only. But membership is open now!
