I kudos'd yours earlier but I admit I can't force myself to read Dr. Who :/ I'm a drive-by kudoser for my friends! The original stuff though, I can definitely do -- it IS nice to support each other so thank you for reminding us.

Yeah, it's irrational -- I've never seen an episode... and it's a very old beef now so it may have expired? But it does strike me as a fandom with soooooooooooo much canon that a new person would be lost.
